Ring Road: section one; Ndop-Kumbo approaching completion

According to report getting from the control mission, work is progressing peacefully on the construction site of the road Ndop-Kumbo
The construction site of Ndop-Kumbo links two Divisions, located in the North-West Region specifically in the division of Ngoketunjia with Ndop as headquarter, and Bui division with Kumbo as the headquarter. At the signing of the contract No 610/MS/MINTP/2010, the Ministry of Public Works being the prime project owner prescribed to SOGEA SATOM CAMEROON to effect construction of a conventional road Ndop-Kumbo, with the total length of 50.5km and a tarring concrete coating of 1.50m for a duration of 46 months of work and one month for the control team.
Observe delivery market; is for this purpose the daily wager strives to raise the successful bidder under the technical supervision to be done by ECTA BTP, contract No 609/MS/MINTP/2010, to carryout control on the said project. The control mission agrees in effect to say that the work experience from their actual starting on February 1, 2011 till August 2014, the significant advances of control is estimated at 92,84% and the overall physical progress of work is estimated at 93,4%.
Speaking on the financial situation of this project, the overall amount estimated at 36,076,907,949 CFAF, giving that the control team (ECTA BTP) will receive 1,911,466,455 CFAF and SOGEA-SATOM is to receive 34,165,441,494 CFAF for the construction.
However, the difficulties associated with the successful execution of this project are multifaceted, especially at the release of-way, the low level of mobilization of equipments, heavy rain and late payment of funds. The latest date forecast for the presentation of work is on the 1st December 2014.
