Northwest Region: 113,30km of municipal roads network to be executed this 2022

The programming budget of Road Funs this year 2022, will facilitate the previewed projects of over 113.30km of municipal roads network, this program covers seven division which inturn will impact living standards in several municipalities in the region. As part of the execution of the municipal roads network program under Road Fund for the financial year 2022, the Northwest region, like all the other regions of Cameroon will benefits from a budgetary allocation to cover the needs related to road maintenance, rehabilitation and construction. 20 projects will be executed in 20 different municipalities including 110.00ml of engineer structures, for an estimated amount of 1 990 000 000 billion, in accordance with the said amount the funding partners decided to raised 1 410 000 000 billion FCFA mobilized for the 2022 financial year to carry these projects.
20 municipalities will benefit from these new development, in the Northwest region. In the Bui division, 2 (two) municipal roads where taken into concentration for the maintenance of 20km road with an estimate of 100 000 000 million FCFA. Moving to the Donga-Mantung division 3 (three) projects of 22km roads and 7ml bridges to be maintained for an amount of 30 000 000 million FCFA. In the Boyo division 1 (one) project engaged for an envelope of 90 000 000 million FCFA. looking at what is to be done in the Momo division, 4 (four) project envisage two for construction and two for maintenance. These projects will eventually cover some indistrict to enrich the people due to the fact that, these roads are both agricultural roads, which will facilitate the moving from farm to market, the package preview is 50 000 000 million FCFA. In the Ngoketundja diviosn, 2 (two) bridges programmed both under construction for an amount of 90 000 000 million FCFA, same goes to Menchum division 3 (three) bridges of 20ml a package of 75 000 000 million FCFA. Coming to Mezam division in the Northwest region 6 (six) projects programmed for the maintenance, rehabilitation and construction of roads and bridges, 18km of road and 12ml bridges. A bridge was constricted at the palace junction over river Atogolah linking Atogolah and Ntasha 8ml, another bridge constructed with culvert boxes over river Fenang at the PK 3+000 of the road linking Dowa and Fenang quarter in Baligham village, construction of a bridge over river 1Agham at PK 03+500 along upper Agham-Nghophana Achi road 6ml long. Another rehabilitation of road stretch inter road 3.5km from Manka  and 4km to Mambu-Ntehfinki, these project in the Mezam division round up to 80 000 000 million FCFA.   
Looking at the road infrastructure in the Northwest region, its plays a crucial role in the country, perplexity was been wiped off their mind, as not only highway roads that are been constructed, municipal roads have also been added to facilitated the moving of person and goods from farm to market without any hitch or delay.
