     Title: Ongoing evaluation of work performance 
On Thursday the 22 August 2013, the Audit and Inspection Mission of Road Maintenance (MAIER) started investigation on external mission activities by the Inspector General of Technical Questions (IGT) of the Ministry of Public Works

This mission has specific objectives to check the constraint of the procedures of the European Development Fund (EDF) for, to verify whether the estimated program has achieved results, and to gather views from beneficiaries and donors. The Minister of Public Works, the Caon, (National Support Authorizing Unit) the DUE (Delegation of the European Union).

During the evaluation many activities are been put in place, analyzing of the audit reports of the program estimates and other documents, organize meetings with the manager, the accountant , the deputies, engineers from the IGT, the office of studies and companies that have been audited. At the end of the mission a final report will be prepared and forwarded to the DUE (Delegation of European Union) the Inspection Mission of Road Maintenance MAIER is responsible, inter alia, for:

-      Assess the quality of audits realize, the number of projects audited and the choice of projects

-      Raise the concern and prospect of companies and expert, audited by the Inspector General Incharge

for Technical Questions

-      Evaluate the expectations and requirements of the hierarchy (the Minister of Public Works and the

Inspector General Incharge for Technical Questions)

-      Check compliance with the contractual obligations of firms and companies in administrative and

technical plans

-      To verify if the companies and inspection missions have developed sufficient self-check

-       To ensure that the road database classification of companies and BET, are held and used by key

stakeholders including the observatory companies

-      To confirm if the implementing audits have contributed to improve the quality control missions and

business executives to work better

-      Check whether the technical auditors have improved the ability of engineers to better control IGT

sites roadwork impartially.

The audit engagement conducted by Michel Beaugrand will end in two weeks.
